Potrero Power Station Project Takes Shape
Originally published in October 2024
It was October 2023 that we announced in this newspaper the groundbreaking of a 30-year-scoped waterfront megaproject to redevelop the old Potrero Power Station property, consisting of 29 acres in the Dogpatch, into 2,600 homes and 1.6 million square feet of commercial space.
Well, one year later, work is well underway on the Potrero Power Station redevelopment, and we’re pleased to bring you photos from the jobsite.
The project’s developer is Associate Capital, whose managing partner, Enrique Landa, has been a reliable friend of the trades and helped to move this project forward as an all-union build.
When we visited the jobsite on Friday, October 4, we met a number of building trades workers, including electricians, laborers, operating engineers, and carpenters.
We’ll keep an eye on this project as it continues its buildout. In the meantime, enjoy the photos.
